Our mission as
the Kansas City Professional Horsemen's Association is
to inspire, encourage interest in, and regulate hunter/jumper
competition in the Kansas City area. To accomplish this
mission our members, working together, will:
Promote
sportsmanship and assure fair competition.
Make
adequate and fair rules governing KCPHA competition
and enforce them for the common benefit.
Protect
horses by adopting and enforcing rules set forth by
the: USA Equestrian regarding cruel, unsafe and/or
unsportsmen like practices.
Serve
and promote the best interest of KCPHA competitions.
Educate
horsemen and the general public about equestrian sports.
Expand
and enhance the image of local equestrian sports competitions.
To
inspire positive citizenship traits in young riders
by demonstrating and reinforcing positive horsemanship
qualities.
